Overview

Digital Alarm Clock (“the App”) is developed by 0K Industries. This privacy policy explains how the App handles your information.

In short: Digital Alarm Clock does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data.

Information We Do Not Collect

The App does not collect, access, or transmit any of the following:

  • Personal information (name, email, phone number, address)
  • Location data
  • Device identifiers (advertising ID, IMEI, serial number)
  • Usage analytics or telemetry
  • Crash reports
  • Photos, media, or files
  • Contacts, calendar, or call logs
  • Camera or microphone data
  • Financial or payment information
  • Health or fitness data
  • Browsing history

Data Stored on Your Device

The App stores your preferences (color theme, layout, brightness settings, time format) locally on your device using Android SharedPreferences. This data:

  • Never leaves your device
  • Is not accessible to other apps
  • Is not transmitted over the internet
  • Can be deleted by clearing the app’s data or uninstalling the app
  • May be included in Android’s device backup/restore if you have device backup enabled in your Android settings

Permissions

The App requests a single permission:

  • SET_ALARM — Used solely to open your phone’s built-in clock/alarm app when you tap the alarm indicator. This permission does not allow the App to set, modify, or delete any alarms.

Alarm Data Access

The App reads your next scheduled alarm time from Android’s AlarmManager API and may query your clock app’s content provider to determine which days have alarms set. This information is:

  • Used only to display alarm indicators on screen
  • Never stored persistently
  • Never transmitted anywhere
  • Processed entirely on your device

Internet Access

The App does not request internet permission and makes no network connections of any kind. There are no servers, no APIs, no analytics services, and no advertising networks.

Third-Party Services

The App uses no third-party services, SDKs, or libraries that collect data. The only external library used is AndroidSVG, which is an offline SVG rendering library with no data collection capability.

Children’s Privacy

The App does not collect any data from anyone, including children. The App contains no advertising, in-app purchases, or social features.

Changes to This Policy

If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this document. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
